I have quite bad scoliosis which over the years has been getting progressively worse.  I decided to try pilates to prevent further deterioration.  I have been delighted with the results.  Not only has the pilates helped me to balance my body and spine, but it has also given me muscle definition that I have never had before, despite always being active.  I only wish I had discovered pilates 20 years ago!
